A mandatory authorization issued by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) that holds producers, importers, and brand owners accountable for the end-of-life collection and environmentally sound processing of their plastic packaging.

It is required if your business falls into any of these categories:

• Producers: Manufacturers of plastic packaging.

• Importers: Those importing plastic packaging or products with plastic packaging.

• Brand Owners: Companies selling products under their own brand using plastic packaging.

• Plastic Waste Processors: Entities engaged in recycling or converting plastic waste.

Required Documents

• Company KYC: GST Certificate, PAN Card, and CIN (for companies).

• Authorized Signatory: Aadhaar Card and PAN of the authorized person.

• DIC/Factory License: Issued by the relevant state authority.

• Pollution NOC: Consent to Establish (CTE) and Consent to Operate (CTO) from the State Pollution Control Board.

• Technical Details: Details of plastic packaging type (Category I, II, III, or IV) and annual quantity (in Metric Tonnes).
